Amazing Greek food in a beautifully decorated small restaurant! The owner is lovely and authentic and makes you feel very welcome and your dinner experience even more special! The different mixed entree platters are to die for and plentiful, followed by a generous and very tasty selection of main meals - Whether you are a meat-eater or vegetarian! I will definitely be back when in town!

I was organizing a work holiday dinner for 20 people. I had gone to the restaurant previously before and always like the food, so I thought it would be a good choice. All of my coworkers loved the restaurant and the food. We were given a small menu to choose from, which included an appetizer buffet and a main dish. The appetizer buffet was varied and amazing. The main dishes were chicken skewers, a fish plate, a mixed meat plate, baked eggplant, and lamb. Everything tasted delicious. The service was also really great. They were very attentive to our table, explained what everything was, and were overall very cheerful and happy. We were also served a couple of rounds of ouzo on the house. Everyone stated that they loved it and wanted to come back again on their own. Thank you again for hosting us!

We had an awesome dinner at the Taverna! Service was personable and the food excellent. We ate outside in their garden seating area. Service staff made sure we felt welcome after dinner, while chatting and having a couple drinks.

This is some of the most authentic Greek you’ll find in the area. The atmosphere is incredibly comfortable and homey, and not overly done. They created the most authentic greek experience in the area. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Nothing over the top, just quality ingredients cooked well. Everyone in our group agreed - it was the most relaxing dining experience in recent memory. This place was recommended to me by a Greek friend as the most Greek-like place around, and they were 100% correct. Amazing. Will go back.

I have been in and out of Stuttgart for work over the years. Each and every time, I make sure to stop by Taverna Elia for the excellent food as much as the excellent service they provide. For some time I was something of a regular, often being greeted with a drink, smile and handshake or even hug. At times when the menu changed, they would prepare off menu items at request, the place is just incredibly welcoming. The food is always amazing, you really can't go wrong if there's a dish you're familiar with and enjoy. Thank you to the staff for always making meals here so enjoyable, and I look forward to some kopanisti and Ouzo when I'm lucky enough to return to Stuttgart. Yamas!
